The Haan Museum of Indiana Art presents Better Together, a collaborative artwork co-created by 80 members of the greater community with artist brothers, Steven and William Ladd, for the National Scrollathon.
Better Together is on display in the storefront window of Purdue Federal Credit Union at 340 Main Street, visible from the outside. (Note: participants do not need to enter the bank for viewing)
Steven and William Ladd created the National Scrollathon Project, leading community artmaking sessions at one museum in each state in the country. Their work is installed at The Kennedy Center, and will open to the public on Memorial Day, 2026. Viewers of Better Together at the PFCU will see the Indiana portion of the National Scrollathon.
This Scrollathon at The Haan Museum of Indiana Art, and the first exhibition in The Haan Museum Without Walls series, is made possible through the generous support of the City of Lafayette, The Arts Federation, Indiana Arts Commission, Indiana Humanities, Visit Lafayette/West Lafayette, the National Endowment for the Arts, the National Endowment for the Humanities, Duke Energy Foundation and Purdue Federal Credit Union.

Gallery Walk was started in the early 2000s by local galleries and the Tippecanoe Arts Federation. After being off in 2020, Artists' Own and other downtown businesses brought back the ever-popular Gallery Walk. It will be held on the Third Friday of May, July, and September.

This is a grassroots endeavor, so that any help would be appreciated. Angi Peterson - Artists' Own Member

Artist Opportunity
The dates are May 15, July 17, and September 18 from 6 - 9 p.m. Downtown Lafayette is alive with new retail and restaurant businesses and businesses interested in hosting an artist for this event. The Gallery Walk Lafayette Committee would like to create a list of artists interested in pairing with a business. If you are an artist, musician, magician, or theater group who would like to be on our list, please fill out this form.
Without the support of our sponsors, the Gallery Walk would not be possible. Please support these businesses. We would also like to acknowledge Angie Peterson and Marilyn Martin of Artists' Own for their drive to get Gallery Walk returned to downtown Lafayette.
